The rhythms of salsa, bachata and kizomba pulsate in the middle of Oslo every weekend. Knut Erik Production has created a vibrant dance environment where music brings people of all ages and levels together.
Or have you wondered where you can meet people, move to Latin rhythms and feel the real joy of life – in the middle of Oslo? Then there is a good chance that you will end up at one of the parties of Knut Erik Production.
Through weekly events and large congresses, Knut Erik has become one of the most important driving forces behind the growing salsa and bachata scene in Norway. And it shows – in the music, the atmosphere and the community he has helped build.
Every weekend, Sagene Samfunnshus is transformed into a melting pot of rhythms, smiles and interaction. At “Bachata & Salsa på Sagene”, over 300 people dance until late at night.
What meets you?
You don't need a partner to join in. Just an open mind and the joy of dancing in your legs.
Knut Erik is not just an organizer – he is the driving force behind one of Norway's most vibrant dance communities. With a genuine passion for dance and people, he has built a scene that includes, inspires and brings together people of all levels and backgrounds.
He has been organizing dance nights and congresses for over a decade, and is known for his ability to create professional settings with a warm and open tone. It is clear that what he is building is about more than dance – it is about community.
“For me, it’s about creating a place where everyone feels welcome. It’s not just about music – it’s about people,” says Knut Erik.
Have you ever been to a dance party where you felt at home – from the first step? Then you may have already felt the effect of Knut Erik's work.

International instructors, dancers and enthusiasts from all over the world gather here for a weekend of:
Have you ever dreamed of attending a real dance festival, but didn't know where to start? This is the place.
Dance is more than movement. It is joy, community and presence.
And it's all available to you – here in Oslo, every week.
Next step?
For me, dance is about so much more than choreography.
It's about being in the body, in the moment, with others – without words, just rhythm and contact.
That's where I get my energy.
That's where I find myself again – again and again.
And it is precisely these kinds of spaces that Knut Erik creates.
Space for movement, space for community – and space to feel alive.
